Kumul Petroleum Holding’s managing director, Wapu Sonk, today made a presentation at the ‘LNG Supplies for Asian Markets’ conference in Singapore.
Mr Sonk’s address, titled ‘PNG’s Next Phase of LNG Development’ outlined the current petroleum development situation in Papua New Guinea, projects that are in the pipeline such as Papua and P’nyang LNG projects and the future role of Kumul Petroleum in the development of this important economic sector.
He highlighted KPHL’s operatorship of licences, its marketing of uncontracted PNG LNG Project cargoes and future possible LNG development scenarios in Papua New Guinea as an under-explored and very prospective petroleum region.
