On 13th February the Chinese Ambassador to Papua New Guinea Mr. H.E. Yang Xiaoguang made an unannounced, unofficial visit to the KPHL training facility construction site near Caution Bay.
After meeting Government officials, this was part of his visits to Chinese contractors operating in Port Moresby to celebrate the Spring Festival, the start of the Chinese lunar New Year, one of the most important traditional holidays in Chinese culture. This is the Year of the Fire Horse.
The Ambassador inspected the almost completed infrastructure at the site and spoke to representatives of the contractor and KPHL who were at the location at the time.
