We’re now inviting applicants from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to fill these exciting and rewarding positions with our Motukea Fuel Facility (MFF) Project.
Reporting to the Fuel Services Manager, The incumbent will manage all aspects of fuel storage and supply at the terminal ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling of the fuel.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including cargo handling, inventory control, product storage, quality compliance and transportation.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards.
- Staff Leadership: Manage and develop a team of terminal employees, providing training and support.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage terminal budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Emergency Response: Serve as Incident Commander in the event of an emergency.
- Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance and reliability of terminal assets.
- Compliance with Regulations: Ensure adherence to local and federal regulations, including operating permits, safety programs, and construction permits.
Skills, Qualifications & Experiences
- Must have Diploma, preferably in Engineering, Technical or Marine background or other related field.
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in oil and gas operations, of which at least five (5) must be at a senior level.
- Incident Commander Training
- Knowledge of oil and gas industry regulations and standards.
- Experience in fuel storage operations management, safety compliance, and logistics coordination.
- Ability to manage budgets, forecast operations, and allocate resources.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for inventory management and logistics.
