We’re now inviting applicants from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to fill these exciting and rewarding positions with our Motukea Fuel Facility (MFF) Project.
Reporting to the Engineering Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for Logistics, Procurement, and Warehousing for KPHL Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the MFF procurement and warehousing of consumables (chemicals, lubricants, spares, etc.).
- Securing a laydown area / warehouse in or around Port Moresby in preparation for potential drilling rig for inspection and also for warehousing of larger items for MFF that cannot be housed at MFF site.
- Securing a laydown area / warehouse in the field (Gulf or Western Province) to support future drilling operations for the KPHL operated licences and potential development work (construction of pipelines and facilities).
- Developing processes and systems (including software) for logistics, procurement, and warehousing.
- Developing a team to adequately support operations particularly as KPHL is now starting the process to prepare for its first drilling operation with large lead times for securing drilling piping and completion equipment and critical spares for MFF.
- Budgeting for logistics, procurement, and warehouse requirements.
- Providing the planners with scheduling.
Skills, Qualifications & Experiences
- Must have Diploma with minimum 2 years’ experience or Year 12 graduate with 5+ years of experience in coordinating role
- As this is essentially a build-up-from-ground role, must be experienced in setting up systems and processes to effectively manage these and ensure timely delivery of equipment or material ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Must possess effective communication, organization and planning skills that are imperative to ensure all work is completed and communicated both internally and externally in a timely manner.
- Proficient computer knowledge and keyboard skills in a Microsoft Word/Excel for Windows and other Computer Skills as required.
