Reporting to the General Manager Projects & Engineering, the I&E Engineer will lead all I&E engineering on design, engineering and construction for oil and gas processing facilities, fabrication facilities, energy production facilities and power generation facilities based onshore, nearshore and offshore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all I&E engineering matters including design changes and development, engineering reviews, construction reviews, acceptance of site changes, compliance with codes and standards.
- Manage the I&E engineering change register.
- Oversee the development of I&E engineering project briefs, technical specifications, and designs including drawings and bill-of-quantities.
- Lead the I&E engineering procurement processes based on the bill of quantities.
- Review the project scope of I&E works to schedule deliverables and forecast estimated costs based on the earned schedule progress.
- Ensure all Subcontractors meet I&E engineering contractual conditions of performance.
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to schedule progress.
- Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other).
Qualifications/Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Current Registered Member of IEPNG.
- Proficiency in the use Oracle based Timewriting and Project Cost Accounting, Document Control System Aconex or similar.
- 15+ years’ experience working with high profile clients and international contractors to execute large EPC projects.
- 15+ years Project Management experience in pre-Concept, Concept, pre-FEED and FEED scopes of work for onshore, nearshore and offshore Initiatives.
- Experienced in engineering contemporary DCS/SIS and specialty control Systems
Technical Skills/Competencies:
- High level skill sets and knowledge in ICSS package engineering/management and process control.
- Conversant with international codes, standards and recommended engineering practices with respect to plant safety.
- Fully familiar with safety processes such as HAZOP/SIL/Safety case reviews.
- High level skill sets and knowledge in plant and equipment upgrading, detail design and construction in oil & gas, LNG Refineries, Petrochemical and Process plants.
- Solid instrumentation and controls engineering knowledge of all kinds of package equipment, such as glycol skids, de-aeration units, Waste heat recovery units, End flash gas units, Acid gas removal units.
- High level skills in Cost Time and Resource stewardship.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Rules and Legislation.
