Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited, the national petreoleum and energy company, has announced that its annual Charity Golf Challenge is being held again, on 3rd November at the Royal Port Moresby Golf Club.
A Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited representative, EGM Corporate Affairs, Luke Liria, made this announcement today at a small launch event held just outside the club house.
“We are happy to once again host this event. Last year, when 52 teams participated, we raised just over K168,000 that was used to support the operations of six out-of-home care centres in various parts of the country,” Mr Liria said.
“This year, we again have a great line up of prizes for the event and look forward to business houses and other organisations in the National Capital District sponsoring teams and participating.” he said.
“Similar to last year, the proceeds of this year’s charity event will be used to support six out-of-home care centres that collectively look after hundreds of children who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to return to their homes.”
“We look forward to many corporate teams attending the event this year.” Mr Liria said.
