Reporting to the General Manager Projects & Engineering, the Project Manager (Infrastructure) will be responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing contractor progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction activities from conception to completion.
- Review project scope of work and forecast estimated costs based on the earned schedule progress.
- Maintain compliance to PNG building and safety regulations.
- Ensure all Subcontractors meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to schedule progress.
- Analyse, manage and mitigate all construction activities risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of standard construction techniques.
Qualifications/Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
- 10+ years proven work experience in construction infrastructure management.
Technical Skills/Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methods.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
