Reporting to the General Manager Projects & Engineering, the Project Manager (Infrastructure) will be responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing contractor progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee and direct construction activities from conception to completion. 
  • Review project scope of work and forecast estimated costs based on the earned schedule progress. 
  • Maintain compliance to PNG building and safety regulations. 
  • Ensure all Subcontractors meet contractual conditions of performance. 
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to schedule progress. 
  • Analyse, manage and mitigate all construction activities risks. 
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of standard construction techniques. 

Qualifications/Experiences: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field. 
  • 10+ years proven work experience in construction infrastructure management. 

Technical Skills/Competencies: 

  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methods.  
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, regulations and quality standards. 
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
