The Human Resource Advisor is responsible for delivery of a full range of HR services and is expected to provide accurate and sound advice on best HR practice standards. The incumbent will work collaboratively with all teams at all levels. One of the main responsibilities of the role is to provide strategic advice and support on the complete recruitment process including onboarding and induction,performance management and career development
Provide expert and sound advice relating to all HR Policies and present to HR Manager any changes inline with business strategy;
Contribute to policy and process improvements in key HR functions and continuously look at ways to improve service delivery;
Assist People Leaders in managing all HR functions ensuring actions are in line with Kumul Petroleum policy and PNG Labor Law;
Support Human Resource Manager in the development and maintenance of staff development and training plans;
Work with the HR team to continuously improve HR systems and processes ensuring they meet optimum efficiency standards;
Provide support to the Human Manager as and when required;
BA Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or a related discipline;
Minimum 10 years generalist HR experience, at east 3 years industry experience would be an advantage;
Demonstrated knowledge of PNG Labour Law and industrial relations processes;
Good experience with payroll systems;
Strong knowledge and experience in training and development systems and processes.
